Leading with Purpose

I am running for NEA State Director because our members deserve a trusted voice at the national table—someone who will interpret NEA policies with clarity, advocate with strength, and ensure that our state’s priorities are heard and acted upon. This role is about more than attending meetings in Washington, D.C.; it’s about making sure the decisions made there reflect the realities we face here. Guided by Trust and Unity and rooted in Strength Through Solidarity, I am committed to advancing public education and uplifting every educator and student in our state.

Organize, Organize, Organize!

In the words of NEA Vice President, Princess Moss, we must "organize, organize, organize!" 

NCAE is showing the nation what it looks like to actually organize and WIN in thr South. 
In order to see long term WINS we must ramp up our ability to increase our organizing power. Let's build on the foundation that currently exists! 

Strategic Planning

Your voice is IMPORTANT! Let's make sure that the voices of members, from the mountains to the coast, and every place in between, are engaged in the democratic processes of our union. 


Our Statewide Campaign Planning Team is working to ensure that members from across the state have a voice and an action plan to shift the balance of power that currently has North Carolina as 50th in per pupil funding. 

Advocating for Change

Mobilizing grassroots efforts to amplify voices and drive meaningful change at the local level, state, and national levels. 


Working in collaboration with other unions and organizations that share our Union's core values will be vital as we push for actionable systemic change! 

We stand united as a collective understanding that our working conditions are our student's learning conditions and the conditions must improve. Our public schools are THE BEST OPTION for millions of students across North Carolina!
